With a very low energy consumption, super silent, and extremely compact, the Lunos e² units achieve very good energy efficiency – class A and provides a heat recovery rate of up to 90 %.

Technology – low noise level
Highly efficient motors with state-of-the-art electric technology in combination with mechanical-flow, reworked and specially balanced fans have almost eliminated the known ventilation noises. With a total of 16 dB in level 1, 19.5 dB at level 2, and 26 dB at level 3 (each 17, 32 or resp. 38 m3/h volume throughput) the fans are well below the required values of DIN for living and sleeping rooms.
As a comparison: 3 dB decrease stands for 50% less sound intensity. A ventilator that just complies with this standard is therefore 16 times as loud. Once again new standards are set in matters of noise.

Innovative – Heat Recovery
Lunos e² operates according to the known principle of regenerative heat exchange. The so-called AcuVent storage stone is located in the middle of the airflow of an electric motor with an axial fan. By reversing airflow, which results in the targeted change of direction of the fan, the ceramics are charged with heat energy that is offloaded into the room air and discharged again to the air added from outdoors. This is carried out so effectively that a mere 10 % of the heating energy is lost by the ventilation With the help of state-of-the-art manufacturing processes it has been possible to develop a compact heat exchanger from a ceramic composite material that supplies a thermal efficiency factor of approx. 90.6 %. The combination of highly efficient electric motors and intelligent control has made it possible for LUNOS to develop one of the most economical ventilators.

Slim - Small dimensions
The e² is the smallest decentralised fans on the field of home ventilation with heat recovery. Like the e²neo, the 160 fans e² and e²short are extremely compact in their volume flow class.

Compatibility with other devices
If a LUNOS ventilation system has already been installed, an existing fan of the 160 series can be replaced by the fans e² and e²short. This is possible by the use of the same wall duct. In a new building, the LUNOS e² can also be combined with all LUNOtherm elements.

Versatile installation option
In a new building, as well as in a renovated building, all fans of the LUNOS e² series can be used. The e² is either installed in a new building with the help of a wall recess casing position between the stones or subsequently, e.g. when renovating with the help of a 162 mm large core bore.
